Over the past few years, Sacha has been producing and playing music that ranges from house to disco to tech house to darker and faster music from electro to techno - all of which are reflecting his moods and interests in dance music in a non-limiting way.

In 2022, to put names to the different sounds he's interested in, he'll be expanding and releasing under new aliases besides his Sacha Robotti name, as well as teaming up with other artists he loves & respects for new projects, to provide fresh new music. This is one of them.


The first EP "In The Dark" came out on Sian's label Octopus Recordings at the beginning of 2022 - available for streaming and download now:

I flew from a New Years Eve show in Houston Texas to SF for Fresh Start on New Years Day, had such a blast on the decks.

“Party Like 2019” is the final release of yet another strange year and comes courtesy of the Sloth boss himself, Sacha Robotti. Made during the pandemic, it didn’t have a title until recently.

Influenced sonically by Berlin in the 2000s, the track is both dark and silly. Featuring flamenco claps that mingle with off-beat noises and human interjections, cut & pasted over a caveman-like bass line that keeps thumping along, interlaced with psychedelic breaks with reverberated risers and framed by a funky sporadic guitar lick that reminds you to come back to earth every so often.

In his own words, “This track reminded me of the chaos I was living in throughout 2019, my relentless touring schedule and the party excess, as well as the premonition I had that something life changing on a planetary level was about to happen”.

JTJ returns to SLOTHACID with a new 4 track EP that features two vocal collaborations with label boss, Sacha Robotti.

"Do It Again" the title cut is a tried and tested peak time banger featuring a massive bassline, a catchy vocal recording by Sacha as well as glitchy high-end FX that take the track into another dimension. Just do it again!

"Pop That", an homage to weirdo grooves and UK fidget, retains the same energy: a sonic build up and once again, a Sacha vocal drop sees the track sit nicely between fidget & tech-house with a punk attitude with JTJ also supplying a dub mix.

Rounding off the EP, "Twenty 4 Seven" is a hypnotic house cut that sews this body of work together beautifully. Equally at home in warm up or peak time sets, this one shines a light on JTJs flexibility as a producer. Excited to share this music with you.
